Tiffany Spencer brings 17 years of experience to her role as a top-producing real estate professional on Kauai. “I enjoy meeting people and forging new relationships with wonderful families,” says Tiffany of her career that has spanned almost two decades.

She has worked in partnership with Ben Welborn for years, selling many properties in the eight-figure price range. “We formed one of the first teams at Hawaii Life, and we rock!” says Tiffany. “We have been in the top 10 for at least ten years now.”

The pair specializes in helping clients with luxury properties on the North Shore of Kauai. Together, they’ve earned a solid reputation through their incredible work ethic and commitment to professionalism. They serve plenty of high-profile clients since the North Shore — free from big resorts — has become a haven for those seeking the privacy and seclusion that it offers.

“I love my job! I like to negotiate, strategize, and get results and have a knack for matching clients with their dream properties,” says Tiffany. “I do everything with integrity and heart, and my clients trust my in-depth knowledge of the local marketplace.”

Since its inception, Tiffany has been with Hawaii Life, working from a tiny upstairs office at Ching Young Village on Kauai’s North Shore. In just 11 years, the company has grown to more than 350 agents serving clients from 18 offices statewide. “Together, we have grown from a small business to a very successful real estate company! I love that Hawaii Life is local, just like me,” she says.

Raised in Hawaii, Tiffany attended Kamehameha Schools before earning a B.A. in Journalism from BYU in Utah. Her minor in Middle Eastern studies led her to travel to Jordan, Israel, and Egypt before returning home to Hawaii. At the age of 22, she won a highly-competitive internship as a television news reporter with CBS in Honolulu. One month later, her coverage of a breaking news story involving a dangerous, escaped fugitive made the executive suite at Hawaii News Now take notice. They offered her a full-time position as an on-air reporter.

In 2000, after eight years of a successful newscasting career, Tiffany’s family decided to move to Kauai. Along with the move came a career shift to real estate. Tiffany says these were the two of the smartest decisions she has ever made. “Since then, my “when the going gets tough” tenacity combined with a love for what I do, has allowed me to grow into my current position as a top-producing agent on Kauai.”

Many clients recognized Tiffany’s face and name from her time as a reporter. But her days of television appearances were far from over. She’s recently put her on-air experience back to work, appearing as a featured real estate agent on HGTV’s top-rated series Hawaii Life, where our agents help clients find the perfect home to suit their needs.

“We’ve had the BEST surf during this entire quarantine period! OMG!?” said Tiffany.

After 17 years of success in the industry, Tiffany has learned that every client is unique. “It’s incredibly rewarding when you match the right property with the perfect client, and they are thrilled to begin their ‘Hawaii life'”, says Tiffany. “I worked with one client for seven years, and when we found the right property, he was so excited! He has since transformed his beachfront home into an incredible property.”

Her favorite part of her job is helping others live their best life. “Every day I wake up in the morning, say a prayer, and say thank you because there is nowhere else in the world I would rather be. I am grateful to call Kauai home where I am living my best life,” says Tiffany.

In her free time, you’ll find Tiffany surfing, practicing yoga, hiking Kauai’s beautiful North Shore trails, and hanging out with her boys, fishing, and collecting shells in some of their secret Kauai spots. You can also find her listening to the soothing music of Israel Kamakawiwo’ ole, whom she remembers playing music in her high school gym when she was a teenager. “I get chicken skin thinking about his performance,” says Tiffany. “His music instantly touched my heart and had a lasting impact, as a “Part Hawaiian” growing up in the islands.”
