Ben Welborn, Realtor-Broker

In 1979, at the adventurous age of 10, I moved to Hawaii with my family. We spent our first summer, living on a sailboat, anchored in Hanalei Bay, soaking up the magic and diving into the new adventures that surrounded us. Then, with the approach of the winter season and high surf, we retreated to terra firma and moved into a home on the beach.

I attended grade school in Hanalei, high school in Kapaa, and then went on to the University of Colorado where I earned a degree in International Business where I graduated Summa Cum Laude, at the head of my class.

Following college, I fed my wanderlust, traveling extensively to places like Nepal, Tahiti, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Mexico. I also worked for many years as a boat captain, guiding tours along Kauai’s famed Na Pali Coast, and thereafter as a fly-fishing guide in Alaska’s Bristol Bay. “Finally” at the age of 30, I decided it was time to “settle down”, back home on Kauai. I love this beautiful island and feel very grateful to call it my home. I am a “Kauai Boy” at heart – I love our sun and our rain!

Professionally I am a licensed Realtor with Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers. I also own and operate my own land-use and project consulting business, Landmark Consulting Services. My dual roles as Realtor and planner complement each other and provide many crossover benefits to my clients.

With over 26-years of combined experience, and an extensive knowledge of Kauai’s current regulatory and development environment, I offer unparalleled representation and valuable insights to my clients. I enjoy my work, and I pursue it with integrity and passion. I am here to assist you, to answer your many questions, and to share my knowledge of our beautiful island home…

In addition to my busy career, I find time to work on a number of community and non-profit projects. I am an active member of the Hawaii Islands Land Trust. I am currently involved in The North Shore Path project, a private/public partnership promoting the development of a biking and walking path to link together the communities of Kilauea, Princeville, and Hanalei (visit:

When I am not working, you will most likely find me surfing, fishing, or riding my mountain bike. I live on the North Shore with my beautiful wife Courtney and our 6-year old daughter.

Tiffany Spencer, Realtor-Salesperson

Between surfing, stand-up paddling, or walks on the beach, Tiffany enjoys living the island dream and sharing it with family, friends, and clients.

Raised in Hawaii, Tiffany graduated from Kamehameha Schools, then went to Utah to earn a B.A. in Journalism from BYU and a minor in Political Science which included travels to Jordan, Israel, and Egypt. She returned to Hawai‘i at age 22 and won a highly competitive internship as a TV news reporter with CBS in Honolulu.

After working on-air for six years, Tiffany moved to Kaua’i with her husband to raise their family and make the career switch to real estate — two of the best decisions ever! Since then, her “when the going gets tough” work-ethic combined with a love for what she does, has allowed her to grow into her current position as a top producing agent on Kaua’i.

Recently, Tiffany had a chance to put her on-air experience back to work — perhaps you have seen her featured on HGTV’s top-rated series Hawaii Life.

Tiffany knows how to negotiate, strategize, and get results. With a knack for matching clients with their dream properties, the majority of her business is now referral based. Through real estate, she has found a way to integrate her world-view with an in-depth understanding of the local marketplace.
